The Equine Studio - Equine Photography in North Wales and Chehsire

No animal has captured the humans imagination quite like the horse. Weather they are treasured pets or sporting heroes every horse has a beauty quite unlike any other.

The idea of the equine studio is to provide horse owners with top quality studio style photographs and prints of their horses/ponies.

The studio environment allows for such fine attention to detail and perfection in the final product with the use of lighting and backdrops it really can set the mood and emotion of any photograph. The studio photo shoot allows a photographer to truly capture a horse’s character, strength, beauty and grace.

The dramatic effects, scenes of tranquillity and true beauty of each individual can be captured in a studio as the possibilities are endless due to the time of year, weather and environment having no influence as it does with outdoor shoots.

The Equine Studio is designed to be a relaxed, creative environment to allow horse owners to have their own input into the photo shoot whether it be a fun horse and owner/rider shoot combining mounted poses with close interaction portraying the bond shared between horse and owner or a poised image of perfection of a striking individual, or displaying the power and elegance of a competition horse or even to capture cherished moments with that one special horse.

Your  Studio Experience

When you decide to book a photo shoot at The Equine Studio be assured that every effort is made to make yourself and your horse feel as relaxed as possible so it is an enjoyable experience for everybody. We start by giving the horse as much time as is needed to make him/her feel comfortable with the backdrops and lighting before we start shooting.

Then there is a chance to make those finishing touches and have a short consultation before the shoot begins. All shoots are carried out at an indoor arena as the surface allows for secure footing and the space gives us plenty of room to work in.  We can also travel to an arena in your area as all the studio equiptment is fully portable.

Each shoot can be up to 2 hours long depending on the individual horse, we try not to go over 2 hours and give the horses regular breaks between poses.

We ask that you bring along any tack, equipment, grooming kits, clothing etc that you might need during your shoot (also some of your horses favourite treats!).

Every photo shoot is tailored to suit each individual, by filling out a client information form it allows us to learn more about yourself and your horse and what type of shots you are after.

Once the Photo shoot is complete photographs will then be processed and edited and a CD of proofs will be posted to you within two weeks.  We offer all sorts of styles and images and are available in a wide variety of sizes including canvas and framed prints.
